All are welcome to help! And all are needed! Ideally every member of our parish family would help with at least TWO of the ministries/groups below. The leader is listed not because this is the only person to do this job, but because this is the person that will organize the MANY who will volunteer to help.
The MOST IMPORTANT thing we do as a parish family is worship together. But there is much to do beyond that! A family cares for each other. A Christian family strives to fulfill the Lord’s Matthew 25 challenge. A family has a home to care for – in our case it is the parish church. A family has a yard to care for, grass to cut, snow to remove, flower beds to plant, and many other similar tasks – and so do we as a parish family. And there is much to do beyond that! If every one of us participates regularly in at least two of the groups below we will never burn out those zealous souls that are willing to do whatever needs to be done for the glory of God. We need those people of course, but it is not kind to kill those hard workers by sitting back and letting them do OUR work. Join in – contact the head of one of the volunteer groups today! And if you see a need that we are not filling talk to Fr. Gregory – the list below is not exhaustive and we can most certainly add to it!
