During Great Lent at all weekday services, and on many Saturdays (beginning even before Great Lent with the first Soul Saturday on March 9) the departed are specially commemorated.

Other Soul Saturdays this Great Lent:

April 13

You can arrange commemoration of your friends and loved ones by visiting our special page in this regard here:

COMMEMORATIONS AT THE DIVINE LITURGY

There is lots of good information there and you should read that all at some point. If you don’t have time to do that now please visit our on-line form to submit names (under the commemoration of the departed you can choose “Great Lent 2024: All Weekday Services + Soul Saturdays”):

COMMEMORATION ON-LINE SUBMITAL FORM

If you are in a financial position to make a donation for commemorating your loved ones you can do that here – if you aren’t this is not a problem since the Church does not charge for prayer, but is thankful for donations in this regard:

Weekly Educational Offering - Prepare for the Coming Sunday!
10/4/24, 06:00 AM
Posted by Fr. Gregory

We present here a short educational offering for both children and adults on the upcoming Sunday's principle Gospel reading so that all can better prepare for the Divine Services. Parents are asked to review the children’s portion with their children. It is very important for us to attend the Divine Services on Sundays and whenever else we are able, but in addition it is our spiritual responsibility to educate ourselves and our families in the faith. It is our hope that this mid-week offering will be an aid in this regard. Please contact Fr. Gregory with questions or suggestions.

The Liturgical Fast for those communing begins after breakfast. In other words, you may eat breakfast, but eat or drink nothing further after that. Parents should use their best judgment regarding their children, as always. Those who confessed on the weekend prior to the Wednesday Presanctified need not confess again on/before Wednesday.

Infants do not commune at this Liturgy ~ Младенцы не причащаются на этой Литургии
