Heaven and earth, angels and men, living and departed, join together in keeping festival and offering thanksgiving to the Lord for his love [at the celebration of the Eucharist]. ‘Earth and sea, inhabited and uninhabited lands, will sing an eternal hymn; and they will give thanks in gratitude for the divine and good things’ which they have received. All things give thanks: “To Him who sits upon the throne and to the Lomb be blessing and honor and glory and power for ever and ever!” (Rev. 5:13)
