As a parish sisterhood we strive to support our parish family morally and financially in accordance with the Statutes for Sisterhoods of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia.
Our major yearly fundraising events are:
St. Xenia Sisterhood Bake Sale
Pascha Kulich Sale
Ann Arbor Russian Orthodox Festival
In addition to our Bake Sale, the Sisterhood prepares a weekly parish meal each Sunday of the year, cleans and beautifies the parish church and grounds, hosts meals and receptions for special parish events, and takes part in various special parish projects. All St. Vladimir's female parishioners age 21 and older are welcome and invited to join the Sisterhood. Young ladies younger than this are encouraged to join our parish Youth Group.

The St. Xenia Sisterhood is named after St. Xenia of St. Petersburg, the Holy Fool for Christ's Sake. Our feast day is celebrated on January 24/February 6. Each year a Vigil for St. Xenia is celebrated on the eve of the feast (January 23/February 5) at which all members of the Sisterhood are very strongly encouraged to partake of the Mystery of Confession. The Divine Liturgy is celebrated on the feast day itself, at which all members of the Sisterhood are again very strongly encouraged to partake of the Mystery of Holy Communion.
