What’s Up with the You Tube Channel?
11/5/22, 06:00 PM

In their wisdom the powers that be at Comcast seem to have decided to throttle downloads of Facebook videos. That makes it essentially impossible to download from Facebook (where we broadcast our live stream) and upload to YouTube if Comcast is your service provider (and that is true for Fr. Gregory). We are working on moving our stream to YouTube. But until that time we need help. Do you have a service provider that is not Comcast? Do you have 10-15 minutes per week to move 2-3 videos from Facebook to YouTube? If so, please contact Fr. Gregory.

Weekly Educational Offering - Prepare for the Coming Sunday!
11/5/22, 06:00 AM
Posted by Fr. Gregory

We present here a short educational offering for both children and adults on the upcoming Sunday's principle Gospel reading so that all can better prepare for the Divine Services. Parents are asked to review the children’s portion with their children. It is very important for us to attend the Divine Services on Sundays and whenever else we are able, but in addition it is our spiritual responsibility to educate ourselves and our families in the faith. It is our hope that this mid-week offering will be an aid in this regard. Please contact Fr. Gregory with questions or suggestions.

All Parish Pascha Party is May 15

Posted by Fr. Gregory

Fr. Gregory, Elizabeth, Misha, Masha, and Natasha invite everyone to join us for our Pascha party on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at our house in Saline. The rain date is Monday, May 16 2022. Why do we need a rain date? Because we will hold the party outside! We’ll have a bon fire, lots of non-Lenten food, drinks, and hopefully a lot of fun! Don’t know where we live? Please send a note to info@stvladimiraami.org now (not on May 15 when you leave your house!) and we’ll share details with you. Everyone is welcome! Come celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord with our whole parish family in the best post-pandemic style!

THE WEATHER LOOKS GOOD FOR MAY 15! SEE YOU THEN!!!

Monday First Things - Teachings of the Holy Fathers
9/5/22, 06:00 AM
Posted by Fr. Gregory

Our life is not arranged arbitrarily, but by Divine Providence. Peace is acquired by cutting off your will. It is impossible to find complete satisfaction. The Lord does not demand the impossible from us, and the fulfillment of the commandments of God is possible everywhere and always. Seeing a person forcing himself to piety in a certain place and situation, according to his strength, and his readiness, the Lord fulfills his desire for good.
