Weekly Educational Offering - Prepare for the Coming Sunday!
6/1/21, 06:00 AM
Posted by Fr. Gregory

We present here a short educational offering for both children and adults on the upcoming Sunday's principle Gospel reading so that all can better prepare for the Divine Services. Parents are asked to review the childrenís portion with their children. It is very important for us to attend the Divine Services on Sundays and whenever else we are able, but in addition it is our spiritual responsibility to educate ourselves and our families in the faith. It is our hope that this mid-week offering will be an aid in this regard. Please contact Fr. Gregory with questions or suggestions.

Posted by Fr. Gregory

Very trustworthy sources have reported that Father Frost will be at St. Vladimirís immediately after the Divine Liturgy on Thursday, January 7. There will not be a Yolka/Christmas Pageant this year due to the pandemic, so this is the only chance to visit with Father Frost. Parents who would like to ensure their child gets a gift from Father Frost should contact Svetlana Mitchell by Wednesday, January 6 at 12:00 noon. After that it will be too late! Contact Svetlana at 734-474-2655 or jgm20@aol.com.

Monday First Things - Teachings of the Holy Fathers
4/1/21, 06:00 AM
Posted by Fr. Gregory

Refuse to listen to the devil when he whispers to you: give me now, and you will give tomorrow to God. No, no! Spend all the hours of your life in a way pleasing to God; keep in your mind the thought that after the present hour you will not be given another and that you will have to render a strict account for every minute of this present hour.
