Our Head Reader, Ken (Peter) Doll, will offer a class on Saturdays at 5:00 p.m. beginning on October 14, to teach new readers how to read the Hours and the Epistle. Not just HOW to read, but also how to find WHAT is the right thing to read. This class is targeted at the next generation of readers (men and women age 16+), but all are welcome. The class will be in English. Those who would like to learn to read Church Slavonic should alert Ken to this. That will be a separate process, but we do have the ability to train you to read Church Slavonic. Once this class has concluded a second class will be offered (winter or spring), providing a deeper dive into the Liturgics of the Church, teaching students how to compile all the Divine Services, and how to read the appropriate things at Vespers, Matins, and all the Divine Service.
