The next of the twelve great feasts of the Holy Church falls this coming Friday. This is the feast of the Entrance of the Mother of God into the Temple. In the past we have taken up a special collection for our Diocesan Fund for those in Need of Assistance on the Sunday of the Thanksgiving holiday. Since IOCC has established the Sunday before Thanksgiving as their “Giving Sunday” we will therefore transfer our parish collection for the Diocesan fund to the Sunday immediately after Nativity going forward. Please contact Fr. Gregory with questions.

As is our long standing practice, we do not hold Church School classes on the Saturday of the Thanksgiving holiday. So many of our families are travelling this weekend that holding classes is not practical. Thank you for your understanding. Church School resumes on Saturday, December 5.

On Sunday, November 22, 2015 Benjamin Lin and Elizabeth (Marion) Gabl were wed at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Ann Arbor, under the auspices of our St. Vladimir's parish. We congratulate the newly-weds, their families, friends, and loved ones and wish for them many years, much health, and salvation! Please remember Benjamin and Elizabeth in your prayers as they begin their life together and the hard work that it takes to be an exemplary Christian family. Many years to Benjamin and Elizabeth!
