It is very important that we not drive on the driveway or parking lots during the paving work, which begins Monday and should be done by Wednesday morning. If there rain during this time add one day to the paving work for every day of rain.

Our parish brotherhood celebrates its feast day on Saturday, July 2. Please join us for Liturgy that morning at 9:00 a.m. and Vigil the night before at 6:00 p.m. On this day we are pleased, with Bishop Peter's blessing, to host the clergymen of our Michigan Deanery for the Divine Service and a meal afterwards. This just in: our parking lots will be paved on June 30. BUT - if there is rain that day the rain date is July 1. If that happens we may have to cancel Vigil on July 1. Watch this space for more information. For now - plan to join us on July 1 & 2 until you hear otherwise!

The "Stump the Priest" session is meant to be attended by both young people and parents. There are lots of things that we need to all discuss - together. Please join us!

Please join us for the great feast of Pentecost this weekend at St. Vladimir's! Everything begins at 6:00 p.m. Friday evening with Vespers and Matins for the departed. Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. we have our Children's Liturgy. After that we decorate the church for Pentecost with branches and leaves. Vigil for Pentecost is 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, then Liturgy on Sunday for the great feast at 10:00 a.m. as usual. Following Liturgy we'll have Kneeling Vespers (the first time we kneel in the church since Pascha). After Kneeling Vespers our Sisterhood presents our monthly building fund dinner. Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. we have Divine Liturgy for the day of the Holy Spirit. Please join us!

Please join us on Sunday, June 26 for the Day of Youth in ROCOR at St. Vladimir's. Very importantly, we will have a plate collection this day. This plate collection is the ONLY philanthropic effort to support the Diocesan Youth Fund the entire year. Please plan to participate and be as generous as your personal financial situation allows.

We will also hold the biggest, widest, deepest session ever of "Stump the Priest". This will be for both young people and their parents and everyone and anyone can ask questions. Certainly someone will object - the young people won't ask questions in front of their parents of their peers, and the parents will not be much different! Indeed! Thus, we have TWO options for you. The patron feast day of a parish is equal to PASCHA. We would never miss Pascha and we don't want to miss our feast day either! This year we celebrate 35 years as a parish. ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!

The great feast of Pentecost is June 19. Please join us on Saturday, June 18 for a Memorial Divine Liturgy beginning at 9:00 a.m. Following the Liturgy we will decorate the parish church with boughs, branches, and flowers for the Pentecost vigil. This is a similar activity to our Lazarus Saturday church decoration in preparation for the Palm Sunday vigil. Many good memories are waiting to be had at these sorts of events. Please bring your children! It is especially important for them to participate in these sorts of activities. All are welcome!
