Weekly Educational Offering
18/1/17, 06:00 AM
Posted by Fr. Gregory

We present here a short educational offering for both children and adults. Parents are asked to review the children’s portion with their children. It is very important for us to attend the Divine Services on Sundays and whenever else we are able, but in addition it is our spiritual responsibility to educate ourselves and our families in the faith. It is our hope that this mid-week offering will be an aid in this regard. Please contact Fr. Gregory with questions or suggestions.

For Adults: a homily by Metropolitan Hilarion (Alfeyev) on the beginning of the path that leads from Nativity to Pascha:

For Children – an activity based on last Sunday's Gospel reading for various ages:

Thank You - GREAT WEEKEND!
16/1/17, 06:00 AM
Posted by Fr. Gregory

We had a simply incredible weekend at St. Vladimir's - and your efforts were so great to make it such a wonderful weekend that we have to mention it here. Yes - every weekend is wonderful: we have the honor to celebrate the Lord's Resurrection every Sunday and that is something to be thankful for! But in addition to that we managed a Vigil and our Annual Nativity Ball on Friday, as well as a baptism. Saturday saw Liturgy for St. Basil the Great, the beginning of our Church School spring semester, and a wonderful vigil for Sunday and St. Seraphim of Sarov, and on Sunday we celebrated the weekly Resurrectional Divine Liturgy, another baptism, and our Nativity Yolka. Wow - now that's a fruitful weekend! Thank you to EVERYONE who made all that possible. We couldn't possibly list all the names - we would forget someone or many someones and we don't want to do that. You know who you are, and more importantly, the Lord knows who you are. May He reward you in this life and in the next for helping our parish be, as St. Paul says, all things to all men so that all means some may be saved! Join us next weekend at St. Vladimir's!

No Liturgy this Morning
8/1/17, 08:30 AM

Unfortunately our pipes have frozen at the church. Therefore we will not be able to hold the services today. Not because the pipes have anything to do with the services, but because we have no working bathrooms.

Please spread the word to all those that you know or suspect maybe planning to come to St. Vladimir's this morning. We ask your forgiveness for the inconvenience!
